Robert Keith White, age 67, was born on June 25, 1957, in Houston, Missouri and passed away in his home on Dec. 12, 2024, in Houston. Robert was the son of Reverend Bob White and Millie White.
Robert is preceded in death by his dad, Bob White and brother, Jack White.
He is survived by his mother, Millie White of Houston; two sisters, Vicky (Randy) Brinson of Wewahitchka, Florida and Susie (Kelly) Lay of Houston; his son, Adam (Sarah) White of Nixa; two grandchildren, Logan and Samantha White of Nixa; niece, Shannon White of Tucson, Arizona; great-nephew, Payton Choate of Phoenix, Arizona; and great-niece, Victoria Choate of Tucson.
Robert grew up in Houston and graduated from Houston High School in 1975. Robert attended college at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. He majored in sign language and traveled with a group, Signs of Love. His passion was teaching sign language to anyone willing to learn.
Robert worked in the oil fields in Wyoming and Texas in his earlier years. Then he worked in Cabool at Cabool Tire for several years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, floating the Piney River, riding bikes and exploring caves with his cousin, Terry White. Robert grew up enjoying spending time with his family, cousins and friends.
Over several years, Robert enjoyed spending his time with his Labradors: Athena, Lizzy and Lady. He enjoyed gardening in his spare time.
Robert accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Bucyrus.
A visitation for Robert will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at New Beginnings Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Scott Barton officiating. Internment will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Evans Funeral Home of Houston. Online condolences may be left at evansfh.com.
