The National Weather Service is offering guidance on the Christmas week weather.
It said the chance of rain arrives Monday tonight and lasts through Tuesday night. Highest chances of rain will be during the daytime hours Tuesday.
Christmas Day currently favors dry conditions. No thunderstorms are expected at this time and those out and about will need an umbrella and be ready for wet roads, it said.
