A Salem woman was injured Saturday afternoon after her truck lost a wheel northwest of Houston on Highway 17.

Tpr. Nathan Poynter of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the southbound 1998 Ford Ranger traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

The woman, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with minor injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.

The vehicle had extensive damage.

Assisting at the scene — situated between Highway ZZ and Highway 38  — was the Houston Rural Fire Department.
