The Missouri State Board of Education on Tuesday voted to update the classification of the Success School District from provisionally accredited to accredited.
The board also handled other classification matters during its meeting. Most of the discussion centered around the performance of St. Louis Public Schools.
The Missouri State Board of Education said several factors go into changing a classification:
- Two consecutive Annual Performance Report (APR) composite scores are required.
- Results from the 2022 APR may not be used to lower classification.
- Legal compliance, parent education program, financial condition, superintendent certification and resolution of any prior Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) findings.
