Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings Jan. 8 and 9.
Members:
- Reviewed several funds of the budget and attended a Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committee (RHSOC) meeting.
- Discussed the employee health care deductible benefits.
In other business, commissioners heard from:
- The maintenance department gave updates on facilities as well as budget items.
- Faye Kyle, Ozark Township, gave a phone call concerning township questions.
- John and Kathy Smith discussed naming a private lane.
- Dee Ann DuCote discussed roads in Golden Hills.
