​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between Dec. 30, 2024 and Jan. 5, 2025, the Houston Police Department answered 147 calls for service and initiated 32 traffic stops, which resulted in 12 citations and 27 warnings.
- On Dec. 30, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of S. Grand Avenue after a counterfeit $100 bill was discovered at a local business. The investigation is ongoing.
- On Dec. 31, officers investigated a trespass complaint in the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard. Following the investigation, officers cited Debra S. Dzurick, 65, of Raymondville, for first-degree trespassing.
- On Dec. 31, officers cited Jose E. Martinez, 25, of Springfield, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
- On Dec. 31, officers cited Hayden J. Burns, 20, of Houston, for driving while suspended.
- On Jan. 2, officers responded to a private property motor vehicle crash in the 1000 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard. No injuries were reported and only minor damage occurred.
- On Jan. 3, officers arrested Joshua D. Baldwin, 45, on an active Texas County warrant per charge Driving While Intoxicated-Aggravated. Baldwin was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was held without bond.
