Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Texas County, which serves western Texas County, is asking for the public’s help in finding a water leak.

“There is a water leak in what we believe is the Success area that is causing low pressure. Our technicians have been looking for the problem since Wednesday afternoon and have had no luck finding it,” it said in a statement Sunday evening. “After exhausting every option that they can, the technicians would like to ask for the members of the community to please help us. We ask that if you see any puddled, running or even frozen areas that are not usually there to please contact us.”

Any information will be examined by a technician. The on-call number is 417-217-5208 and another cell number is 417-217-8226. Earlier, the district issued a boil water advisory.

The district said it was sorry for the inconvenience.
