South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG) is offering a low-interest loan program for eligible homeowners needing water well drilling within the seven-county region of Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas and Wright counties.
Eligibility and information pertaining to the low-interest loan program includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Must show proof of property ownership and occupancy (no rental properties, Contract for Deed or owner financing).
- Have a combined household income less than $65,000 per year.
- The loan recipient must pay a minimum of $250 with application submittal.
- Must show an ability to make payments at 4% interest rate.
The maximum loan amount is $20,000.
