One person is charged with failing to register as a sexual offender, authorities said.
Bond for Blythe W. Brotherton, 29, is set at $1,500 cash only on the class E felony. He was earlier convicted in June 2024.
A deputy observed two children inside a Highway B residence when investigating. Earlier, the suspect had lived on Crane Drive.
Brotherton said he had also been working at a Houston business.
The deputy concluded that Brotherton was living in Texas County rather than in Shannon County, where he was registered.
