One person was injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Troop G, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Benjamin Swink said a southbound 2016 Can-Am 570 Outlander driven by a 40-year-old Birch Tree man slid on a curve on a county road northeast of Mountain View and was struck by an eastbound 2023 Ford Ranger operated by a 59-year-old Mountain View man.

Swink said the Birch Tree man was taken by patrol vehicle to Mercy in Mountain View with minor injuries. The ATV had moderate damage; the truck had minor.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
