Texas County’s unemployment rate was down in December compared to November, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
In December, the rate was 4.1%. That is down compared to the 4.3% rate in November.
According to the department, the county’s total labor force was 9,262 and employed was 8,879. (Total unemployed – 383)
Other counties and their unemployment rates: Dent (3.9), Douglas (3.6), Howell (4), Laclede (4.7), Phelps (3.1), Pulaski (4), Shannon (4.9) and Wright (4.3).
