A Waynesville man was hurt Thursday afternoon after his van ran off Highway 17 and struck a tree, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Jason Sentman said a northbound 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by the 55-year-old driver ran off the right side of the roadway and struck the tree about five miles north of Roby.
Sentman said the man, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with minor injuries. The vehicle was totaled.
