The National Weather Service says Texas County will begin receiving rainfall starting late Wednesday night.

âž” A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of the eastern Ozarks (currently does not include Texas County) from 12 a.m. Thursday through 12 a.m. Friday.

âž” Heaviest rainfall along and south of the I-44 corridor, with highest accumulations between 1.5-3 inches in far south-central Missouri.

âž” Heavy rainfall may pose the risk for excessive runoff leading to flooding, especially in flood-prone areas.
