UPDATE: The missing juvenile was located and is safe.
The Texas County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the location of a missing Texas County teen.
Kaya Acker, age 16, walked away from a residence on Highway Y near the Texas/Howell County line.
Authorities said she has acquaintances in Howell County.
Persons who have any information about her location or see her, should contact 911 or call 417-967-5997 for dispatch.
