A Winter Storm Warning is in effect 12 a.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday for Texas County, the National Weather Service said.

EXPECTED IMPACTS

âž” Heavy snow is expected with total amounts between 6-10 inches. Localized amounts up to 13 inches in higher snow bands.

âž” Travel impacts and closures are likely with this system due to the amount of snow and blowing/drifting of snow.

âž” There is a high confidence in dangerous cold on Tuesday through Friday morning. Wind chills of -10 to -20 are likely.

âž” Cold Weather Advisory runs 6 p.m. Tuesday through 12 p.m. Thursday. High confidence in dangerous cold on Tuesday through Friday morning.
