Fort Leonard Wood said Wednesday a labor strike by employees for the base-maintenance contractor may impact some preventative maintenance service work orders that are not considered an emergency.
The Directorate of Public Works will continue to respond to all emergency and priority service work orders submitted by units and organizations across the installation. There may be a delay in response times.
On-post housing is not impacted by this labor strike.
“Our Garrison team continues to assess the situation and will provide updates when they become available,” according to the statement.
