A Houston man was moderately injured Sunday morning when his vehicle went out of control and hit a snowplow, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Msgt. Steven Cunningham said a southbound 2006 Ford Fusion driven by a 25-year-old Houston man lost control and struck the northbound 2019 International snowplow driven by a 43-year-old Rolla man and ran off the right side of U.S. 63 about seven miles south of Rolla.
The Houston man, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla. His vehicle was totaled in the 5:44 a.m. accident.
The patrol no longer releases the names of persons involved in accidents, citing the potential of it being used in scams.
