​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between Feb. 17 and 23, the Houston Police Department answered 113 calls for service and initiated 17 traffic stops, which resulted in four citations and 15 warnings.
- On Feb. 17, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On Feb. 20, officers responded to the 700 block of W. Highway 17 for a domestic dispute. The parties were separated when officers arrived and both parties agreed to remain separated.
- On Feb. 20, officers responded to the intersection of U.S. 63 and Indian Creek Trail for a motor vehicle crash. A tractor-trailer struck overhead electric lines causing a power outage on the south side of town. The investigation is ongoing.
- On Feb. 22, officers responded to the 6900 block of U.S. 63 for an assault. The investigation is ongoing.
