​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between Feb. 3 and 9, the Houston Police Department answered 169 calls for service and initiated 42 traffic stops, which resulted in 14 citations and 43 warnings.

  • On Feb. 3, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a peace disturbance. Upon arrival, the parties were separated and no one wished to pursue charges.
  • On Feb. 5, officers cited Jody M. Folsom, 28, of Houston, for driving while suspended.
  • On Feb. 5, officers arrested Alix W. Lear, 35, of Bucyrus, on an active Dent County warrant per charge of fishing without a permit. Lear was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he later posted bond and was released.
  • On Feb. 8, officers responded to the 400 block of Florence Street for a domestic dispute. The parties involved separated for the evening.
  • On Feb. 8, officers cited Jeffery Cosby, 57, of Elk Creek, for driving while intoxicated.
  • On Feb. 8, officers responded to the 100 block of Acorn Lane for a domestic dispute. The parties separated for the evening.
  • On Feb. 8, officers cited Williams J. Sanchez-Caceres, 32, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
  • On Feb. 9, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of C.W. Harry Drive for an assault. The investigation is ongoing.
