•Summersville Schools closed Thursday.

•Cabool Schools are closed on Thursday. It is AMI Day No. 4.

•Houston Head Start is closed.

•Licking Schools are adjourned for Thursday.

•Licking Head Start is closed.

•Plato Schools won’t be in session Thursday. The daycare also is closed.

•Missouri State University – West Plains will open at 10 a.m. Thursday. Offices will be opening late; remote learning.

•Success School is closed Thursday.

•Summersville Schools won’t be in session Thursday.

•Texas County Technical College is closed Thursday.

HOUSTON SCHOOLS CLOSED

Houston R-1 School District will not have classes on Thursday.

LIBRARY BRANCHES CLOSED

Due to low temperatures, Texas County Library branches are closed Thursday, Feb. 20.

MESSAGE FROM INTERCOUNTY ELECTRIC ON ENERGY CONSUMPTION

The message: “Our generation co-op is expecting a new all-time system peak tomorrow morning due to the extreme cold temperatures throughout the area. If we all take a small step to save energy together, we can really make a big difference. Please be extra mindful of usage tomorrow morning between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., and consider turning off non-essential devices and lowering your thermostat a degree or two.”

TROUT DERBY CANCELED
