On Saturday, Feb. 22, the Texas County Library will celebrate international Take Your Child to the Library Day.
Now in its 14th year, this annual event is a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun while parents and caregivers learn more about their library. Take Your Child to the Library Day will showcase all the free resources local public libraries provide for families.
Stop into your local branch between 10 a.m. and noon for a “Bee Your Best” themed story time, craft and free book.
Texas County Library helps families build solid foundations of literacy and love of learning
by providing access to books, early literacy story times, technology, online resources, fun, safe spaces and more.
Over 1,000 libraries will participate in Take Your Child to the Library Day this year. Texas County branches participating are in Houston, Cabool, Licking and Summersville.
