With the arrival of meteorological spring on March 1, The National Weather Service in Springfield has put together a spring newsletter.
It includes content on how to be better prepared this spring, safety tips and other information. March 3-7 is Severe Weather Preparedness Week.
The annual statewide tornado drill is 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5. Communities in Texas County will participate.
