The new library being built in Houston has windows and doors now.

This is so exciting, and we love hearing from the community and all throughout Texas County about how excited you are, too! The question we get asked most is “when will the building be finished?” While there is no set date yet, we are hopeful that by the summer we will be able to start moving in.

For a $500 or more donation to the library foundation, your name can be placed on our donor wall as thanks for helping us achieve this wonderful dream.

“Blind Date with a Book” continues at all Texas County libraries. The staff has created a display of books for you to check out, not knowing the title but just a clue on the front of the book. Come check it out! Thank you, patrons, for making this a BIG hit every year.
