A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 60 injured one person early Friday in Wright County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Jason Sentman said a westbound 2023 Hyundai Kona driven by a 31-year-old West Plains man struck the rear of a 2011 Toyota Tacoma operated by a 60-year-old Mansfield man.

The West Plains man, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital at Mountain View. The other driver was wearing a seat belt.

The Kona was totaled, and the other vehicle had minor damage about two miles west of Mansfield following the 4:20 a.m. crash.
