Teenagers from Summersville and Houston were hurt Sunday night in a single-vehicle accident on Boiling Springs Road about 10 miles southwest of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Zayne Tate said a westbound 2004 Dodge 1500 driven by a 16-year-old boy from Houston traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree at about 6 p.m.
Two passengers — a 15-year-old female from Summersville and a 15-year-old female from Houston — received minor injuries and were taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
No one was wearing a seat belt.
The truck had moderate damage.
