Highway 17 in Texas County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement improvements.
This section of roadway is located between Route AW near Roby and U.S. 63 in Houston. One lane of Highway 17 will be reduced while this work is being performed.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Monday, April 14 with completion anticipated Saturday, Nov. 1.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
