A man and woman each face multiple felony charges following the execution of a search warrant by the Houston Police Department March 4 at a residence on Steffens Street.
Brent A. Lambert, 46, of 210 W. Steffens St., is charged with distribution of a controlled substance in a protected area, possession of a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance. Gina M. Dodson, 40, same address, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.
The warrant was executed at 5:10 a.m. in reference to a drug violation. An investigating officer reported that during the process, several items of interest were found in Lambert’s room, including several syringes, a scale and a plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. Also reportedly found in a jewelry box belonging to Dodson was a small plastic bag containing a residue that tested positive for meth.
Another item reportedly located was a bottle belonging to a person who doesn’t live at the residence that contained tramadol, a schedule 4 controlled substance.
Lambert and Dodson were each taken to the Texas County Jail. Cash-only bond is set at $10,000 for Lambert and $2,500 for Dodson.
