​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between March 24 and 30, the Houston Police Department answered 219 calls for service and initiated 61 traffic stops, which resulted in 18 citations and 63 warnings.

  • On March 24, officers arrested Clarence L. Hall, 33, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge driving while revoked/suspended. Hall was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $5,000 cash-only bond.
  • On March 25, officers responded to the 200 block of S. Grand Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Both parties agreed to separate for the day.
  • On March 25, officers responded to a S. Sam Houston Boulevard business for a reported theft. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On March 25, officers received a theft report from a resident in the 400 block of W. Mill Street. After an investigation, officers cited Erik Burle, 55, of Licking, for stealing under $750.
  • On March 26, officers received a report of an identity theft incident from a citizen. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On March 26, officers responded to the 800 block of W. Chestnut for a theft. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On March 27, officers cited Kristie Miller, 37, of Houston, for driving while suspended.
  • On March 27, officers cited Rebecca N. Barton, 31, of Houston, for driving while intoxicated.
  • On March 28, officers arrested Samantha K. Westfall, 50, of Mountain Grove, on an active Willow Springs Municipal warrant per charge of defective equipment. Westfall was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she was able to post the $225 cash-only bond and was released.
  • On March 29, officers cited Darold L. Currey, 53, of Nixa, for driving while suspended.
  • On March 30, officers responded to the intersection of Bryan Street and Ozark Street for a single-car motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
