​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between March 3 and 9, the Houston Police Department answered 154 calls for service and initiated 22 traffic stops resulting in three citations and 27 warnings.

  • On March 3, the Houston Police Department, with the assistance of the Texas County Sheriff’s Department, served a search warrant in the 200 block of West Steffens Street. During the search warrant, Brent Lambert, 46, of Houston, was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance. Gina Dodson, 40, of Houston, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and keeping a public nuisance.
  • On March 4, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Ozark Terrace for a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was found to be a verbal disturbance. 
  • On March 4, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft investigation. The investigation revealed that a 47-year-old female and a 48-year-old male had committed a theft from the business. The 47-year-old female had previously been trespassed. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges of burglary and theft.
  • On March 5, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a suspicious male acting erratically. The officers made contact with Peter Koob, age 47, of Willow Springs. During investigation, officers located methamphetamines in Koob’s possession. Koob was arrested and taken to the Texas County Jail, where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance. 
  • On March 5, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of U.S. 63 for a motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that a 2007 Infinite passenger car improperly changed lanes and struck a 2017 GMC Yukon. Skylar Kennedy, 26, of Cabool, was cited for improper lane usage.
  • On March 7, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed a 2012 GMC Terrain failed to yield and struck a 2013 Ford Edge. 
  • On March 8, officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle doing donuts in the 500 block of East Main Street. The driver was identified as Timothy Drew, 19, of Saint Charles. Drew was cited for careless and imprudent driving.
