A Norwood woman was injured early Monday in an accident north of Mansfield, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Robert Crewse said a northbound 1998 Dodge Caravan driven by the 19-year-old driver ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence at about 4:20 a.m.

The woman, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance with moderate injuries to Cox South in Springfield. The vehicle had extensive damage.
