One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Business 60 in Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Nathan Poynter said an eastbound 2005 Buick LaSabre driven by a 51-year-old Gainesville man was attempting to make a left turn. An eastbound 2014 Ford F-150 operated by a 22-year-old Cabool man struck an eastbound 2013 Smartcar driven by a 58-year-old man from Denver, which caused it to strike the Lasabre and sent the Buick off the roadway.

The Gainesville man had minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston after the 3:30 p.m. accident.

All three were wearing seat belts. The Ford and Smartcar had extensive damage; the LaSabre had minor.

Assisting at the scene were Tpr. Zayne Tate and the Cabool Police Department.
