In its latest report, the Cabool Police Department listed a range of activities, including traffic stops and responses to local incidents.

The department reported 15 traffic stops resulting in seven summons and nine warnings issued. One warrant arrest was made.

At 9:33 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, a one vehicle accident was reported on Chestnut Avenue north of East Highland. The driver ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and ran off the left side, striking a culvert, officers said.

At 11:52 p.m. Sunday, April 13, the Cabool Police Department assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with an accident on Highway 6, west of Garden Inn. A westbound tractor-trailer hauling cattle failed to negotiate a corner and overturned, officers said.

In total, police handled two accidents, nine animal complaints, two civil matters, one impaired subject incident, three juvenile matters, one mental instability incident, one peace disturbance, two suspicious activity incidents, two unsecured building incidents, assisted other agencies six times and assisted the public three times.

The fire department was dispatched 17 times.
