In its latest report, the Cabool Police Department listed a range of activities, including traffic stops and responses to local incidents.
The department reported 15 traffic stops resulting in 12 summons and 11 warnings issued. No warrant arrests were made.
At 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Business 60 and Walnut Avenue. A 2015 Ford Escape turned from Walnut Avenue west on Business 60 and struck a westbound 2018 Ford Escape, officers said.
At 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 20, officers responded to a one-vehicle accident on Business 60. A westbound 2003 Ford Focus hydroplaned, traveled off the road and struck a road sign before coming to a rest in the ditch, officers said.
In total, police handled two accidents, one alarm, six animal complaints, three civil matters, four juvenile matters, two peace disturbances, one stealing/theft incident, one suspicious activity incident, assisted other agencies five times, gave one private escort and assisted the public six times.
The fire department was dispatched nine times.
