Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings April 8 and 9.

Members:

  • Signed a Sexual Assault Awareness Month proclamation for Christos House.
  • Commissioner Scott Long attended an RHSOC meeting at South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG) on April 10.
  • Reviewed current bank statements for the tax maintenance fund.
  • Reviewed a report from Brightspeed concerning service in the county.

In other business, commissioners heard from:

  • In House Tech concerning IT project updates.
  • Glenn McKinney on the historical museum.
  • Several individuals with concerns in Upton Township.
  • David Scantlin concerning Federal Emergency Management Agency and State Emergency Management Agency projects.
  • Individuals concerning unofficial election results.
