The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Wednesday, April 2, including one for work in Texas County.

A $990,000 contract was awarded to James H. Drew Corporation, for guard cable and guardrail repairs in Wright, Douglas, Ozark, Texas, Howell, Shannon, Reynolds, Iron, Carter, Oregon and Ripley counties.

Other contracts included pavement resurfacing, the addition of a roundabout, bridge replacements and job order contracts.
