​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between April 21 and 27, the Houston Police Department answered 160 calls for service and initiated 26 traffic stops, which resulted in seven citations and 23 warnings.

  • On April 21, officers arrested Zachary R. Schuler, 34, of West Plains, on an active Howell County warrant per charge failure to appear-theft.
  • On April 21, officers arrested a 34-year-old male for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
  • On April 22, officers cited Isaac L. Carney, 24, of Houston, for driving while intoxicated.
  • On April 22, officers responded to the 1100 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On April 23, officers cited Clarence L. Hall, 33, of Houston, for careless and imprudent driving.
  • On April 24, officers cited Nadatha Bailie, 34, of Houston, for allowing an animal to run at large.
  • On April 25, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. 
  • On April 27, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a disturbance. Following the investigation, officers cited Jimmie Williams, 61, of Summersville, for fourth-degree assault and careless and imprudent driving.
