Wow! What an incredible weekend we enjoyed in Houston this past weekend!
Thank you to everyone who joined the Emmett Kelly Day fun. It is always such a joy to spend time with friends new and old who take part in celebrating your hometown hero, and my dad! Your hospitality and dedication to his memory make this the highlight of my year, and my family is so very grateful.
Special thanks to our inimitable Event Goddess Brenda Senter; none of this would be possible without her hard work. She was the driving force behind the new historical marker and every other special moment.
