A man from Licking is charged with second-degree domestic assault following an incident April 15.
The Texas County Sheriff’s Department reported that Michael Lanham, of the 12000 block of Kitchem Drive, is charged with the felony. Bond is set at $3,500 cash only. He was born in 1971.
According to a deputy, neighbors reported loud sounds coming from a trailer and called authorities. A victim had bruising on the right side of the neck. An investigation found that the victim had been assaulted multiple times, including smothering, choking, slapping and pulling hair.
I sure hope there is no bondsman that will bond him out! He needs to stay in jail.
