Texas County placed third in the two-day youth spring turkey season that ended Sunday.
Young hunters in the county bagged 94 turkeys, according to the Missouri Department of Conservation.
The breakdown in Texas County was: adult gobblers (84) and juvenile gobblers (10).
Top counties in the state were: Osage (107), Gasconade (105), Texas (94), Miller (88) and Franklin (88).
