Two persons were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash about 3.5 miles south of Success on Highway 17, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Robert Crewse said a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country driven northbound by a 62-year-old Bucyrus man pulled onto the roadway from a private drive and was struck in the rear by a 2011 Ford Ranger driven by an 80-year-old Success man.

Both were wearing seat belts and were taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.

Each vehicle had extensive damage.

Members of the Houston Rural Fire Department assisted.
