A public water district in Texas County is reporting progress in replacing a line damaged by flooding in the Boiling Springs area.

“The bore has been installed and today (April 16) our technicians will connect the lines to it. There will be a loss of water pressure for some of the Boiling Springs area. If you were affected by this boil advisory, then you should continue to boil your water until we give you notice to stop,” Public Water Supply District No. 1 said in a statement.

Public Water Supply District No. 1 said once the lines have been connected, it will flush them and take samples.
