Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings April 23 and 24.
Members:
- Participated in Government Day with area eighth graders.
- Approved the appointment of Noah Morrison as Ozark Township clerk.
- Met with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) representatives for preliminary evaluation of road and bridge conditions from the April 4 disaster declaration.
In other business, commissioners heard from:
- Terra Culley, 911 director, concerning Venable Road.
- Jeff Malam, Pierce Township, concerning roads and crossings for FEMA to review.
