A Summersville woman escaped injury in an accident that hurt two people on Thursday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Sarah Swink said a westbound 2013 Kia Rio operated by the Summersville woman made a left turn and collided with a northbound 1984 Chevrolet Chevette driven by a 50-year-old Mountain View man.

The Chevette driver and a 20-year-old male passenger were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View.

Assisting at the scene two miles north of Mountain View on County Road 3530 was Tpr. Ethan Minge.

Both vehicles had moderate damage.
