In its latest report, the Cabool Police Department listed a range of activities, including traffic stops and responses to local incidents.

The department reported 21 traffic stops resulting in 10 summons and seven warnings issued. Two summons for non-traffic offenses were issued.

At about 8:10 p.m. on June 10, officers were called to the area of 333 Ozark Ave. Upon arrival, officers received a complaint of a subject urinating in public. The subject was identified and issued summons for urinating in public.

At about 12:13 a.m. on June 11, a two-vehicle accident occurred in the parking lot of the Garden Inn and Truck Plaza. A 2020 Mack operated by an individual from Hopkins, South Carolina backed into a parked 2023 Peterbilt, officers said.

At about 1:51 a.m. on June 15, officers were called to a disturbance at the Cabool Apartments. Officers issued one subject summons for first-degree trespassing.

In total, police handled one accident, seven animal complaints, one domestic violence call, assisted other agencies eight times, gave one private escort and assisted the public 16 times.

The fire department was dispatched 13 times.
