​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between June 2 and 8, the Houston Police Department answered 211 calls for service and initiated 26 traffic stops, which resulted in six citations and 23 warnings.

  • On June 2, officers cited Daniel J. Hickcox, 64, of Houston, for failure to abate a nuisance.
  • On June 2, officers arrested Lashanea Warner, 23, of Sacramento, California, on an active Fort Bend County (Texas) warrant per charge of assault on a peace officer. Warner was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she was incarcerated after being unable to post the $20,000 bond.
  • On June 3, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft investigation. Following the investigation, officers cited Justin J. Presley, 29, of Licking, for stealing under $750.
  • On June 3, officers received a report of fraudulent debit card use. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On June 5, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for trespassing. Officers cited Dalton J. Kaut, 20, of Bucyrus, for first-degree trespassing.
  • On June 5, officers arrested Matthew W. Woodruff, 42, of Moscow Mills, on an active Texas County warrant per charge of speeding. Woodruff was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he posted the $174 bond and was released.
  • On June 7, officers cited Ronald J. Wadsworth, 70, of Lenox, for driving while suspended.
  • On June 7, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On June 7, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Following an investigation of the event, officers cited Ashley R. Allen, 43, of Steelville, for stealing under $750.
  • On June 7, officers cited John R. Tutor, 41, of Houston, for allowing an animal to run at large.
