Licking First Baptist Church will host an event Friday, June 20, featuring a speaker whose life was changed by a global outreach ministry.
Yuri “Judy” Lopez, of Honduras, will share her testimony at 10 a.m. about how she came to faith in Christ through Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world.
The nondenominational program shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has led to the start of an estimated 1,000 churches globally each year, organizers say.
Area churches and anyone interested in missions are invited to attend the event and learn how they can make an impact — without ever leaving home.
