One person was injured early Saturday when their vehicle struck a cow on a Texas County highway, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Travis Sullivan said a northbound 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 42-year-old Mountain Grove woman struck the cow on Highway AH about two miles north of Highway M at about 3:50 a.m. It was in the northbound lane.
The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The vehicle had minor damage.

What about the cow?
One died at the scene, the other cow (which does not have an owner) is apparently still loose according to neighbors.
