A Summersville pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled Highway WW after a 2 a.m. Saturday accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Cyle Battreal said the 51-year-old man was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View. He had moderate injuries.
The accident occurred about five miles south of Summersville, he said. The unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound.
