Two people are charged after weapons were brandished in Emmett Kelly Park in Houston.

A woman reported to Houston police that a firearm and baseball bat were used to threaten her while she was sitting under a park pavilion on Thursday, June 19.

Luis Sagastume, born in 2006, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, a class E felony; and fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor. Court records say he is not a resident of the United States. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

Daniel J. Kirkland, born in 2007 and living on Morton Road, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, a class E felony; and fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor. His bond is set at $1,500 cash.

  1. He is bragging to his friends once he gets his paycheck, he is out of here. I believe that is $200 for a $2000 bond.
