The National Weather Service said a corridor of showers and thunderstorms looks to occur this morning through afternoon along or near the I-44 corridor.
Localized amounts of 2-3 inches could occur wherever this axis sets up, it said.
This could lead to flash flooding and a Flood Watch could be extended in time.
